Ergocert Hellas S.A. consistently invests in the safety and training of its employees, cultivating a culture of responsibility and preparedness in the workplace. In this context, the company's staff recently participated in First Aid training, aiming to acquire practical knowledge for dealing with emergencies inside and outside the workplace.
First Aid training from the Hellenic Red Cross
The training program concerned “Basic Life Support and Use of Automated External Defibrillator” and was implemented in collaboration with trainers from the Samaritans, Rescuers and Lifeguards Sector of the Hellenic Red Cross.
This 6-hour first aid training provided participants with theoretical knowledge and practical training by simulating realistic scenarios, so that they could respond effectively to real emergency situations.
Training topics
During the training, our employees practiced realistic scenarios such as:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Airway obstruction management – choking
First Aid certification for the participants
After the successfull compeltion of both theoretical and partical training, Ergocert's employees received their First Aid certification
The certification demonstrates that the participants have the necessary knowledge and skills in order to:
- respond timely in heath emergencies
- be able to offer first aid to a colleague or fellow citizen in need of help
- offer basic life support until specialized medical professionals arrive on scene
