Ergocert gets accreditated as a Persons Certification Body according to ISO 17024
Ergocert Hellas S.A. successfully completed its assessment by the Hellenic Accreditation System (E.SY.D.) and obtained official accreditation as a Persons Certification Body according to the international standard ELOT EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012.

Certification scheme: PED Welder Certification
Ergocert begins its activity as a Person Certification Body with the PED Welder certification scheme. According to the European Directive PED 2014/68/EU, welders involved in the manufacture of pressure equipment must have a special PED Welder Certification to ensure high quality and safety standards in the manufacture of the relevant equipment.
With the specialized knowledge of our body as a Notified Body in the European Union for this specific Directive, as well as with approved inspectors and examiners, we proceeded with the recommendation and creation of the PED welder certification scheme.
